Basic Fun Fold
Here are the basic measurements for this Fun Fold. This is actually the last card in the video. I started with a sheet of Pool Party Cardstock. I cut it to 8 1/2” x 5 1/2”. Then scored it at 3” & 7 1/4”.
The adorable Rainbows & Sunshine DSP will be a FREE Sale A Bration choice in the Jan/Feb 2022 SAB catalog. Next I cut the Front left DSP 5 1/4” x 2 3/4” and front right 5 1/4” x 1”. Simply attach the DSP to the front flaps with Multipurpose Liquid Glue. I love this glue because it gives me wiggle room to adjust and get the paper straight. On the inside of the card I added a piece of Basic White 5 1/4” x 4” and a strip of the DSP, 4” x 1”. This strip can be any size you like.
Next I stamped the sentiment from Sunny Sentiments on the large label from the Tasteful Labels Dies using Night of Navy ink. Wrap some Magenta Madness ribbon around the card and tie in a bow. Then attach the sentiment with dimensionals. Add embellishment of your choice.
Same fold but stepped up
Here I used the same fold and measurements except I added a layer of coordinating Cardstock under the DSP.
I used Bermuda Bay on this card. Front left layer 5 3/8” x 2 7/8” and Front right layer 5 3/8” x 1 1/8”
Another way I stepped this one up is Heat embossing the flower image & sentiment with White Embossing powder on Bermuda Bay Cardstock. I also added Wink of Stella to the Labybug’s spots, head and body.
