On Spontaneous Sunday Stamping this week we used Stampin Up Decorative Masks. Specifically we used the Loveliest Layers Decorative Masks, these are in the Mini Catalog for purchase or you can earn them FREE with a $50 order (U.S.) during Sale A Bration this month. Once we played with these masks a bit they were really easy to use, we tend to over think things sometimes. LOL
First Card
Rebecka created this first card. I love how these colors look together! After using the masks Rebecka went on a hunt on my desk for “bits” to add to her card. She found a circle embossed with the Hove 3D embossing folder, a tiny piece of the2022-24 Glimmer in Starry Sky and this pool party scalloped rectangle. I am pretty sure this Die is retired but there is one in the Scalloped Contour Dies that would work well too. Flick some Starry Sky ink with Stampin Blends and the Wink of Stella and you have a beautiful card!
Next Card
Next we have my card, I decided to work directly on my card without layers. Rebecka and I used the same colors for our cards. I had a couple of inky “oopsies” on my card so my friend Jane suggested using the Mask with the sets of lines to fill in the background and it worked really well. Thanks Jane! This is why we love during Spontaneous Sunday Stamping, our friends get to offer suggestions to help us out. My sentiment came from the Best family Ever stamp set in the Mini Catalog.
